The 2026 SME Europe Award for Social Engagement & Community Impact went to the creative design studio Rubikom (Transylvania- Romania), founder & director Balázs Porcsalmi. Heartfelt congratulations!

Coming from Transylvania, Romania, Rubikom is a design studio with a strong focus on social engagement and community impact. Their responsibility towards the community they belong to is embodied by the Design for Good initiative.

Alongside commercial activity, the studio supports various charity initiatives, such as Yuppi Camp, which provides therapeutic camps for children with serious illnesses. Rubikom uses storytelling, emphasizing empathy and authenticity in design.

The professional activity of Rubicom has already received international recognition, including Red Dot Design Awards, German Design Awards, and Transform Awards Europe, highlighting its ability to combine social sensitivity with high-level design excellence.
