We discussed the EU-Australia Free Trade Agreement, the negotiation of which is nearing completion, and the need for more cooperation between democratic countries to respond effectively and decisively to today&#8217;s challenges&#8221;, said MEP Iuliu Winkler at the end of the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The INTA Vice-President assured Minister Farrell of full support in the European Parliament for the Free Trade Agreement, but also for increased cooperation on renewable energy and critical raw materials.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had a real &#8216;Australian week&#8217; which included the EU-Australia Inter-Parliamentary Meeting (IPM), as well as a discussion with the EABC (European Australian Business Council) delegation led by Mr. Simon Crean.
