MEP Iuliu Winkler signed the Job Creation declaration launched by Youth of the European People&#8217;s Party (YEPP) on the initiative of the Hungarian Youth Conference (MI\u00c9RT). MI\u00c9RT President J\u00f3zsef Szab\u00f3 and deputy president Adorj\u00e1n Jakab were present at the event organised on the 20 October 2013 in the framework of a youth conference in Deva.<\/span><\/p>\n

Advocacy for young people is one of the chore elements of my work as member of the European Parliament – stated MEP Winkler on this occasion. The member of the EP has a strong partnership with the MIERT – representing the youth of the Hungarian community in Transylvania. Earlier this year a partnership agreement was signed between the MIERT and MEPs Iuliu WINKLER and Csaba S\u00d3GOR which concludes, that tackling youth unemployment is one of the most important European challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presidents of the member organisations of the YEPP met in Bucharest on the 4th and 5th of October 2013 for the &#8220;Job Creation Youth Summit” and signed a declaration for job creation, based on the &#8216;3-step plan&#8217; of YEPP. The leaders of the organisations committed to present national plans and strategies for job creation, contribute to YEPP&#8217;s parliamentary alliance for young MPs and suggest specific legislation to Ministers of their governments. The priorities of the alliance are tax incentives for job creators, skill-based education and zero bureaucracy for young entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/p>\n
